Taste of Sandy Springs

Set in the heart of Sandy Springs, the Global Imports Cycling Challenge, is a series of exciting professional and amateur cycling races including the finals of the Southeast CRITS Speed Week, 20, 40 and 62 mile fun rides and a special Metric Century Challenge Ride presented by Northside Hospital.

In homage to those who like to sip, sample and savor, the Taste of Sandy Springs returns for its second year.  Dozens of local restaurants line the cycling race route, enabling spectators the opportunity to sample great cuisine while watching all of the race action. Gas South is the presenting sponsor for The Taste of Sandy Springs.    

The Global Imports Cycling Challenge and Taste of Sandy Springs are produced by the Sandy Springs Challenge, a non-profit organization which raises funds to benefit the Sandy Springs Police and Fire Departments, as well as the causes they support including the Georgia Special Olympics and the Sandy Springs Police Department Benevolent Fund. There is no admission fee to attend the day’s activities. Taste of Sandy Springs sampling tickets will be sold for $1.00 per ticket.
