Youth Improv Night at Act3 Productions

The Youth Improv Troupe of Act3 Productions, the professional-level community theater based in Sandy Springs, will perform at Act3 Playhouse on Saturday, Feb. 9, at 7:30 p.m., offering the audience a family-friendly evening of spontaneous comedy. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and may be purchased by phone at 770-241-1905, or online at www.act3productions.org.

During the Show, the Youth Improv Troupe, Atlanta’s only performing ensemble of middle and high school students, will battle for comedy glory.  Team Volunteer Firemen and Team Frostbite will strut their stuff with input and approval from the audience.

The Troupe is under the direction of Jesse Cramer, who has been involved in improvisational theater since 2006.  He performed for two years with the troupe, “Your Ex-Boyfriends”, and worked with theater companies in New York, Philadelphia, Los Angeles and Boston.  He teaches improv at Act3 Productions and also works with young people with autism at The Community School in Decatur, Ga.  Both Act3 Productions’ youth and adult improv companies are available to entertain outside the theater for birthday parties, corporate events or any special occasion.  Contact Michelle Peck, Act 3 Production’s director of education, for information and rates, michelle.act3@gmail.com.
