Sixth Annual Chattahoochee River Summer Splash
Make a big splash at the coolest event this summer, the Sixth Annual Summer Splash! Float in a kayak, canoe or raft and beat the heat in your six-mile journey of discovery down the Chattahoochee River.
With daytime temperatures heating up, Summer Splash offers a day of cool relief. Paddle and drift past the river's natural grandeur; witness a great blue heron in flight or the riffles of a river otter swimming. Plan on your river journey taking approximately 3 hours, depending on the rivers current and how much time is actually spent paddling! After completing the float enjoy an afternoon of music, food, and fun for the entire family at the Powers Island festivities.
