Whole Foods Market Sandy Springs 5% Day Benefits Heritage Sandy Springs

On Tuesday, May 17, 2011 Heritage Sandy Springs will be the beneficiary of Whole Foods Market Sandy Springs’ community giving program “5% Day.” As a 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit organization, Heritage Sandy Springs will receive five percent of the day’s net sales between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. Heritage Sandy Springs staff and volunteers will be onsite greeting customers and handing out information and giveaways. Whole Foods Market Sandy Springs is located at 5930 Roswell Road, Sandy Springs, GA 30328.

Heritage Sandy Springs is the not-for-profit organization that funds and operates Heritage Green, a four-acre City park located in the heart of Sandy Springs. As the only green space in the center of our city, the park has been a natural gathering place for the community since the property was saved from commercial development in the mid 1980s. Each year, thousands of residents and visitors come to Heritage Green to enjoy free concerts, programs and events, participate in the award-winning Sandy Springs Festival, stroll the shady gardens, visit the Heritage Sandy Springs Museum and attend weddings, meetings and corporate functions.
