Patch has partnered with GoFundMe to assist many local individuals and groups achieve their goals.
In the Sandy Springs area, there are many people in need of support.
Lydia was diagnosed with Lyme Disease last summer. According to her fiance Dustin, she found a specialist in Tampa, Fla., who does not accept insurance.
Their goal is to raise $7,000 for treatment. So far $868 has been raised.
