Annual Outdoor Family Film Series Starts Friday

Leadership Sandy Springs screens three films at the Hitson Center.

 

Leadership Sandy Springs' annual Movies by Moonlight helps to usher in fall with a little ease and entertainment.

The non-profit screens three films starting Friday through Sept. 28, on the lawn at the Sandy Springs Unitied Methodist Church’s Hitson Activity Center. The Hitson Center is located at 86 Mount Vernon Highway.

Moviegoers can see, “The Lorax” on Sept. 7; Dolphin Tale on Sept. 14; and “Zookeeper” on Sept. 28. Festivities start at 6 p.m. The movie starts at dusk. Free admission.

Moviegoers are encouraged to arrive early and picnic. Food and non-alcoholic beverages are allowed, but snacks and drinks will be for sale onsite. Pets and alcoholic beverages are not allowed.

There will be no access to church facilities including the playground.
