Fundraiser Enlists Residents to Help Wounded Combat Veterans

The Phoenix Patriot Foundation will hold its inaugural fundraiser for wounded combat veterans in Sandy Springs on April 26.

A national organization will descend onto Sandy Springs next week to raise money for military veterans wounded in combat.

The Phoenix Patriot Foundation will hold its inaugural fundraiser for wounded combat veterans on Saturday, April 26.

The event, which is $75 per guest, will be held at the Dunwoody Country Club at
1600 Dunwoody Club Drive. Festivities will get underway at 6 p.m.

The fundraiser will include dinner and a one drink ticket, a silent and not-so-silent auction, and guest speakers such as Jared Ogden, former Navy SEAL and Phoenix Patriot Foundation CEO and founder.

Ogden is also a current cast member on the National Geographic Channel hit reality series Ultimate Survival Alaska.

Money raised at the event helps the organization assist veterans wounded in combat, helping them heal, recover and re-engage into society.
