Riverwood Charter Announces Top Two Graduates

Student Ryan Roels is this year's valedictorian and fellow classmate Benjamin Dolder will serve as the salutatorian.

Riverwood International Charter School has announced the valedictorian and salutatorian for its class of 2014.

Student Ryan Roels is this year's valedictorian and fellow classmate Bejamin Dolder will serve as the salutatorian. 

Riverwood’s graduation will be held at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center at 4 p.m. Friday May 23.

Ryan, son of Marianne Domingo and Thierry Roels, will attend Williams College. At Riverwood, Ryan serves as co-president of Mock Trial, first chair in the Riverwood Orchestra, co-founder of the Riverwood Quartet and is a member of both the National Honor Society and the school's tennis team. 

He's also a member of the Georgia Youth Symphony where he plays the violin.  Ryan is an International Baccalaureate diploma candidate and volunteers as an AP and an elementary school tutor.

Ben, son of Kathy Rizk and Richard Dolder, is a Page Foundation STAR Student and National Merit finalist and will attend the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. 

At Riverwood, Ben served as co-President of Mock Trial, treasurer of the Quidditch Club and member of the National Honor Society. He also tutors AP students and economically disadvantaged elementary students. 

He's also an International Baccalaureate diploma candidate at Riverwood.
