Founding Member of St. Jude Catholic Church Mourned
Garnett Hanna Cobb helped save the property now known as Heritage Green, and aided in the restoration of Williams-Payne farmhouse, in Sandy Springs.
Garnett Hanna Cobb accomplished a great deal in her 104 years. She was a founding member of St. Jude’s Catholic Church, the Sandy Springs Foundation and the Sandy Springs Festival.
An obituary by Sandy Springs Chapel said Cobb helped save the property now known as Heritage Green, and aided in the restoration of Williams-Payne farmhouse.
Cobb died on Oct. 9. A funeral mass was held last Tuesday at St. Jude.
