SSPD Children's Safey Class Looks at Ways to Prevent Bullying and Child Abduction

The Sandy Springs Police is very excited to announce our newest class to the citizens of Sandy Springs.

The Sandy Springs Police is very excited to announce our Children’s Safety Class class to citizens. The class is a monthly, one time, two hour class, that is devoted to anti-child abduction lessons and anti-bullying (how to handle bullying).

Both of these are issues are on the minds of parents and children. This class, that is held one Thursday a month, is tailored to the residents of Sandy Springs. The lead instructor, Officer Brian Morgan, has many years of experience as a police officer and as a defensive tactics instructor.

Officer Morgan and the other officers that teach this class have worked very hard over the past two years to develop this class.  Officer Morgan states, “We are very proud of this accomplishment and excited that we can educate the parents and children on methods that can help prevent a child from being abducted and how to deal with and handle bullies.”
