Adina Parson Shooting: Affidavit Says Husband Involved With Another Woman

Michael Parson was engaged to another woman when he allegedly shot his wife at a Sandy Springs apartment complex, says affidavit.

 

Michael Parson, who is accused of shooting his wife, last month, was hiding an engagment to another woman, according to an affidavit.

WSBTV.com reported Parson, a Navy veteran, was a manager at a Dunwoody Petland store. The station reported that the romantic link could have been a former employee at the store.

, three in the head, in the late night hours of April 20, outside her apartment at the Residences of Morgan Falls off Roswell Road. Adina is an attorney for the Georgia Department of Public Health.

Initially Michael Parson was not a suspect, police said. As their investigation unfolded he became a suspect and fled the area. Earlier in May, he was arrested by the Texas Highway Patrol following a traffic stop.

Parson waived extradition and is scheduled for a court hearing June 1.
