A serious accident happened at Roswell Road and Abernathy, Sunday evening. Another accident happened earlier on Johnson Ferry Road.

Roswell Road south at Abernathy is blocked due to an accident. At least one person was injured. A motorist was travelng way too fast, police say.

Earlier Sandy Springs Police were on the scene of a serious-injury accident on Johnson Ferry Road at Riverside Drive just inside the line with Cobb County.

Inbound on Johnson Ferry from Cobb has been closed for at least 1-2 hours due to the investigation. Three persons have been hospitalized. No word on conditions.
Johnson Ferry Road into Cobb remains accessible. Eastbound Johnson Ferry Road is being detoured onto Riverside Drive.
