Sandy Springs Police Hit and Run Investigators arrested 34-year old John Tyler Smith of Sandy Springs, Wednesday, in connection with the hit and run accident on Sunday that brought down a traffic light police on Roswell Road at Glenridge Drive.
The incident caused traffic delays for several hours while crews worked to repair the light.
Smith is charged with Reckless Driving, Failure to Maintain Lane, Striking a Fixed Object, and Failure to report. Smith was arrested and taken to the Alpharetta Jail for booking.
