Dunwoody police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a man who they believe is responsible for an assault on a hotel manager and who later returned and posed as an officer.

In December, police say the man threw hot water into the face of the manger of the Staybridge Suites, located near Perimeter Mall.

This month, authorities say the man, who reportedly is a frequent visitor to the hotel, returned to the Staybridge Suites and impersonated a police officer to the staff.

The man, who investigators say possibly lives in the surrounding area, is described as possibly being in his 30s, standing between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-9, and weighing between 165 and 185 pounds.
