Husband of Adina Parson Arrested in Texas

Sandy Springs Police issued warrants for Michael Parson, on Friday. He was wanted in connection with the April 20 shooting of his wife.

 

Michael Parson, wanted in connection with the shooting of Adina Parson on April 20, has been arrested near Tyler, Texas.

Parson was arrested by the Texas Highway Patrol following a traffic stop just before midnight Saturday. At the time of his arrest, he was in possession of the green Honda Civic, which police mentioned in a Friday statement. He was taken into custody without incident. He is being held in the Van Zandt County Jail in Canton, Texas.

She remains in critical condition at Grady Hospital.

Warrants on Parson include aggravated assault, aggravated battery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, giving false statements in writing and concealing the facts of a felony.
