The security guard of pop star Justin Bieber is accused of taking a camera worth $10,000 from a photographer in Sandy Springs, and authorities say they will pursue felony robbery by snatch charges.

According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Bieber's security guard Hugo Hesny had an altercation Tuesday afternoon with photographer Jason Winslow at Funhouse, located at 6650 Roswell Road.

Winslow left the establishment and Hesny, 32, along with Terrence Johnson, a driver of Bieber's entourage, also left in pursuit of the photographer.

The driver and the security guard, who were both riding in a Cadillac Escalade, caught up with the photographer in a nearby parking lot where Hesny allegedly took the camera from Winslow's car, according to the AJC.

The SUV left the parking lot and drove to a home Bieber is renting, according to the article. A Sandy Springs police officer stopped the Escalade as it was pulling into the driveway and spotted the camera inside the vehicle while interviewing both occupants, the article notes.

The camera was later recovered and Hesny was arrested and charged with felony entering auto. He was booked into the Fulton County Jail Wednesday morning.

Johnson was initially taken into custody, but cleared of the charges as it was determined he was working with a limo company hired to drive the Cadillac Escalade to the Funhouse, according to the article.
