Update: Monday Morning Shooting Related to Domestic Incident
Sandy Springs Police are investigating a shooting at Harbor Pointe Apartments.
Sandy Springs Police say a Monday morning shooting at Harbor Pointe Apartments stemmed from a domestic incident involving an unmarried couple.
The boyfriend, who was shot in the ankle has been charged with battery.

The shooting occurred while the girlfriend was in the process of moving out of the Morgan Falls Road complex, with her father’s assistance, according to Sandy Springs Police Lt. Steve Rose. The boyfriend and the father of the girlfriend exchanged gunshots about 8:30 a.m. Each was hit, however neither wound was life-threatening.
