Police Identify Sandy Springs Shooting Victim, Hunt For Suspect

Sandy Springs detectives are looking for Art Institute of Atlanta student Patricko Mondrez Davis, 21, in connection to the shooting death of Takeenen Williams.

Detectives with the Sandy Springs Police Department have obtained murder warrants for the suspect who shot and killed a man outside the Hub.

Police are looking for Atlanta resident Patricko Mondrez Davis, 21, a student at The Art Institute of Atlanta, in the July 24 shooting of Sandy Springs resident Takeenen Williams, 23, agency spokesperson Capt. Steve Rose said.

Sandy Springs police were called around 4 p.m. and found Williams lying in the parking lot of an office complex where it connects the Sheraton Hotel, located at 800 Hammond Drive, and property known as the Hub.

Williams, who was shot multiple times, was transported to Grady Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Information obtained late Thursday evening gave detectives enough evidence to secuire arrest warrants for Davis, who is believed to have shot Williams "following a dispute," Rose added.
