The man wore a Best Buy shirt and the items had Best Buy price tags on them. The woman told the man she had only $300. He agreed to sell them for that price. She cashed a $300 check and gave the man the money. The items were wrapped in bubble-wrap and according to the victim, looked valid. The items were not. She described the man as a black male, 20-30 years old, short hair and about 5 feet 10 inches tall. The car tag given was registered to Hertz Rental Car.
  • On May 29, an employee of a nail salon on Roswell Road reported that a woman came in and received a pedicure and manicure and paid the $48 bill with a counterfeit $100 bill.
