On Friday night, Parson, 40, was found shot in the head in the breezeway of her apartment building at the Residences of Morgan Falls Apartments located in the 7700 block of Roswell Road.

Sandy Springs Police are investigating the shooting. The motive is unclear, and presently, there is no evidence to show a connection with the April 14 shooting in the apartment complex. That night, 28-year-old Patrick Placide of Winters Chapel Road and his cousin, Jeanlouis Willy, 28, of Ridge Lane in Roswell were apparently involved in a drug deal in the parking lot, when they were shot. Placide was dead at the scene. Willy was treated and released from North Fulton Hospital. The identification of the suspects in that case is still not known.
