Suspect Sought in Ga. 400 Carjacking

Sandy Springs police say Donald Jason Miles allegedly stole a van from a motorist along Georgia 400 last week.

The Sandy Springs Police Department is looking for a man they believe is connected to a carjacking that occurred last week on Georgia 400. 

Donald Jason Miles, 28, is a person of interest in the incident, which occurred on Feb. 27.

According to the Sandy Springs Police Department's Facebook pages, Miles allegedly wrecked his car on the highway and a passing driver stopped to assist.

Miles then pulled a weapon on the motorist and stole the driver's van, which was later recovered in Gwinnett County, according to the agency. 

He's also wanted by the Roswell Police Department for a Nov. 28, 2013, incident involving drugs, fleeing and weapons, Sandy Springs police said. 

The suspect is six feet tall and weighs around 205 pounds. He has short, cropped hair, tattoos on both arms and is considered armed and dangerous, according to Sandy Springs police.
