Teen/Parent Driving Class Coming Soon: Parents Reducing Injury and Driver Error

From 6-8 p.m., on July 27, the SSPD holds "Georgia Teens Ride with P.R.I.D.E"

Parents endlessly worry about their teenage children driving safely on the road. A teen driving class presented by the Sandy Springs Police Department may give them peace of mind.

From 6-8 p.m., on July 27, the SSPD holds “Georgia Teens Ride with  P.R.I.D.E” (Parents Reducing Injury and Driver Error), a two hour course designed to help parents and their teen drivers, ages 14-16, learn what they need to do during the 40 hours of supervised practice driving time required by Georgia Law.

In addition to driver attitudes, the course covers teen drivers and crashes, understanding the licensing process and laws, coaching the new driver and more.
