Ten Fatalties Reported in Christmas Holiday Traffic

The Georgia State Patrol reports its troopers have investigated 456 crashes with 191 injuries.

 

Nearby Sandy Springs: Ten traffic deaths have been reported since the 102-hour Christmas holiday travel period began Friday at 6 p.m. up to 6 p.m. today, according to the Georgia State Patrol.

There have been 456 crashes with 191 injuries and 7 deaths investigated by the Georgia State Patrol (GSP). Other agencies have reported three traffic fatalities.

The fatalities count is much higher than in 2011 already, when three traffic deaths were reported. In 2011 there were 1,898 accidents with 693 injuries reported by all agencies.
