Wednesday Morning Apartment Fire in Sandy Springs

The fire occurred at The Pointe at Canyon Ridge on Roswell Road.

Sandy Springs Fire Rescue was on the scene of an apartment fire at The Pointe at Canyon Ridge, this morning.

The fire was pretty severe said Deputy Fire Chief Jeff Scarbrough. "Nobody's hurt that we're aware of," he said. "As much fire as we had, there should have been a lot more damage to the building."

Officials are looking into the cause of the blaze in the 10-unit building. The apartment community is located on Roswell Road near Northridge Road.
