A One-Week Break From Ga. 400 Toll Starts Friday

The State Road and Tollway Authority will convert the Cruise Card to Peach Pass, to allow drivers to use the card for both Ga. 400 and new I-85 HOV lanes.

Ga. 400 tolls will indeed be halted for one week, starting Friday, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

The State Road and Tollway Authority will convert the Cruise Card to Peach Pass, to allow drivers to use the card for both Ga. 400 and new I-85 HOV lanes. Upgrades will include new gate arms, automated cash machines and video cameras.

Toll is scheduled to be suspended from 8 p.m. Friday to 8 p.m. on July 1.

According to the AJC, Ga. 400 motorists collectively pay about $54,000 per day in tolls.
