Candidate Forum Can Help Clarify Where Candidates Stand

A Sandy Springs candidate forum for Mayoral and City Council races will be held, Tuesday at North Springs High School’s Auditorium, 7447 Roswell Road.

“This occasion gives people the perfect time to hear the issues and make decisions that are right for them,” said Carolyn Axt, executive director of LSS, in the announcement. 

A meet and greet will be held at 6:30 p.m. Literature on candidate’s positions will also be available. 

Here are the candidates: 

Mayor: Rusty Paul, Bob Brown
District 1: John Paulson
District 2: Dianne Fries, Ken Dishman
District 3: Graham McDonald, Barbara Malone 
District 4: Gabriel Sterling, Tochie Blad
District 5: Tibby DeJulio, Clayton Cole
District 6: Andy Bauman, Patty Berkovitz, Jennifer Steele, John Stoj, Sonja Tonpea

The public is encouraged to submit questions to the candidates prior to the forum by emailing them to memberprograms@leadershipsandysprings.org. Cards also will be available at the event to submit questions for the moderator to ask the candidates.
