CH2M Hill to Continue Answering City Calls for Now

City Council agreed to a contract with the company for four months with a month-to-month extension.

CH2M Hill will continue to provide services for the Citizens Response Call Center for at least a little while.

The for general government services is official on Friday. However, City Council agreed to a contract with CH2 for a minimum of four months, and continued service decided on a month-to-month basis. The contract is $63,771 monthly with an additional fee of $11,000 for the first month to cover the phase-in of new equipment; and $765,252 for a year.

The Call Center receives about 10,000 calls per month for service requests and general inquiries. During business hours, calls are handled by a local customer service representative. After hours, representatives at an auxiliary center in Phoenix, Ariz. answer calls.

Tami Hanlin, a program manager at CH2M Hill said most service requests are for the Public Works department. “And customer agents track [all work] orders on initiation to its end and makes sure it gets closed out,” she said.
