Charter Commission Tries Again for Public Comment

Meeting to be held Tuesday at City Hall. A similar meeting was held last month, however, only two residents appeared for public comment.

The Sandy Springs Charter Commission will try again, on Tuesday, to draw residents for public comment.

The 2 p.m. meeting at City Hall is held to hear the public’s take on how power is delegated in the City of Sandy Springs. 

The City Charter is currently under review by the Commission. The nine-member body will recommend changes to the legislative delegation from Sandy Springs in the General Assembly.

A similar meeting was held last month, however, only two residents appeared for public comment.

A City Council meeting will also be held at 6 p.m., Tuesday at City Hall.
