Sandy Springs Approves Waffle House Purchase
Waffle House plans to move to 6445 Roswell Road. The city will pay $1,150,000 for the purchase of the property and relocation expenses.
Sandy Springs City Council members agreed to purchase Waffle House at 226 Mount Vernon Highway and the old Mellow Mushroom space at 6218 Roswell Road, as part of the downtown City Center project.
Waffle House plans to move to 6445 Roswell Road. The city will pay $1,150,000 for the purchase of the property and relocation expenses.
The Mellow Mushroom property will be purchased for $400,000.
The owners of both properties can continue to utilize their locations until at least the end of the year.
