City Council Meeting to Include Public Hearing on Budget

Council also plans to approve CH2M Hill running Citizen Response Call Center.

The first public hearing for the fiscal year 2012 budget will be held during the Sandy Springs City Council meeting on Tuesday.

During a recent budget workshop with Mayor Eva Galambos and City Council members, City Manager John McDonough reported that

During the meeting, City Council also plans to recommend the execution of a Citizens Call Center contract with CH2M Hill. The response center has a live operator and fields about 10,000 general inquiry calls per month.

The City says it has no options after July 1 when CH2M Hill's other services expire and new contractors take over. The Call Center contract will cost $63,771 per month.

Other items on the meeting agenda include a hearing for an alcohol beverage license for Double Zero Napolenta at 5825 Roswell Road. The Council is expected to recommend approval.
