City Honors: Sandy Springs Education Force

The Mayor recognized the organization for its work with Sandy Springs public schools, during Tuesday's City Council meeting.

 

Mayor Eva Galambos honored the Sandy Springs Education Force for its work with local schools, in a City Proclamation, Tuesday.

Fulton County Schools Superintendent Robert Avossa was present to hear the Mayor proclaim March 6, 2012, Sandy Springs Education Force Day.

During the City Council meeting, the Mayor recognized for its focus on the success of Sandy Springs students, engaging leaders in all arenas to help the public schools, and its promotion of literacy - including a partnership with Art Sandy Springs and Friends of Sandy Springs Library for the “” program.
