Deadline Today to Register in Special Election for District 4 Seat
A special election will be held on March 15 for the City Council seat formerly held by Ashley Jenkins.
The upcoming special election is open only to District 4 residents and they must be registered to vote by today.
By last Friday’s deadline, a third candidate, Dennis E. Williams, filed a notice of candidacy for the City Council seat.
Williams joins real estate professional Chiteka Jackson and businessman in the run for the seat vacated by Ashley Jenkins, who resigned unexpectedly in January.
