Supporting the 180-day period, Mayor Eva Galambos said, “[They] seem to be close to getting financing…I don’t see anything wrong with keeping the pressure on to get that financing as soon as possible.”

Joseph Foltz, attorney for The Kessler Enterprises, confirmed to Council members that the company is close to securing a loan.

Plans for the hotel include, 275 guest rooms, 25,000 square-feet of meeting room space, 8,000 square-feet of grand ballroom space, and nearly 300 full-time jobs.
