Flood Risk Open House

To learn more about new preliminary flood maps known as Digital Flood Insurance Rate Maps (DFIRMs), how your flood risk may have changed, and the options available if they have, you are encouraged to attend this Flood Risk Open House hosted by the City of Sandy Springs.

The new flood maps developed and just released by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources and the Federal Emergency Management Agency, will show (property by property) the extent to which parts of the City are currently at risk for flooding.

If the risk level for a property changes, flood insurance and building requirements also change.
