First Lady Sandra Deal Visits Sandy Springs Pre-K Students

In honor of "Georgia Pre-K Week," Bobby Cagle, commissioner of "Bright from the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning," recently joined Georgia’s First Lady Sandra Deal in a visit to Woodland Elementary School.

The Pre-K students met with First Lady Deal and Commissioner Cagle in the media center where the distinguished guests each read a story. First Lady Deal emphasized the importance of learning to read to the young learners. The Pre-K students then performed a song and dance activity that featured counting to 100.
