Ireland Officials Visit for Take on Public-Private Partnership

Lisburn Mayor Bryan Heading and Sandy Springs Mayor Eva Galambos also believe trade is an essential element for economic growth.

Representatives from the City of Lisburn, Ireland visited Sandy Springs, Wednesday. 

The Lisburn delegation was interested in learning about Sandy Springs' Public-Private Partnership model, and how nearby cities followed suit. (Dunwoody and Johns Creek are two Georgia examples).

Lisburn Mayor Bryan Heading and Sandy Springs Mayor Eva Galambos said small business will be a major component in jumpstarting each country’s economies. Both believe trade is an essential element for economic growth.

The day’s activities included a roundtable meeting with Mayor Galambos, Councilwoman Dianne Fries, City Manager John McDonough and leadership from the Sandy Springs/Perimeter Chamber of Commerce; a tour around Sandy Springs; and a visit to Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School and Riverwood International Charter School.
