Work crews start construction on two sidewalk projects, next week.

On Tuesday, sidewalk construction begins on Hope Road between Dunwoody Place and Roswell Road; and on Dunwoody Place from the Dunwoody Place Shopping Center to the QuikTrip. 

The city expects the work to be completed within three months. 

Last week, City Council approved a street-paving contract to C.W. Matthews for $1,838,984.95. Work on several Sandy Springs streets will start soon according to severity, said Public Works director Kevin Walter.

Public Works hopes to have the work done before cold weather arrives, Walter said.
