Mayor Leads Voter Registration Drive at North Springs Thursday

Sandy Springs is working in partnership with other North Fulton cities and the Fulton County Registration and Elections Department to increase voter registration for the 2012 elections.

 

Mayor Galambos will be participating in a voter registration drive at North Springs Charter High School, from 2:30-3:30 p.m., Thursday.

Galambos has been trained and certified by the Fulton County Department of Registration and Elections as a Deputy Registrar. Deputy Registrars are authorized to register voters and conduct voter registration drives, a press release said. 

To register, individuals must be a citizen of the United States, a legal resident of Georgia and of the county in which you wish to vote, and at least 17 and a half years old. Individuals may not register if serving a sentence for a conviction of a felony offense or have been found mentally incompetent by a judge.

North Springs High School is located at 7447 Roswell Road, Sandy Springs. Voter registration is also available at City Hall, 7840 Roswell Road, Building 500.
