North Fulton Commission Candidate Seeks to Fix County

Nearby Sandy Springs: As a Fulton County Commissioner of District 2, Bob Ellis said he would work to reduce the tax burden on homeowners, deliver necessary county services with higher quality.

Bob Ellis says he’s running for Fulton County Commission District 2 to correct the under-representation of taxpayers in North Fulton County.

As commissioner of the newly drawn district, Ellis said in a media statement that he will work to reduce the tax burden on homeowners, deliver necessary county services with higher quality and greater efficiency, and reduce the size of Fulton County government.

“A dysfunctional Fulton County government is a problem not only for Fulton taxpayers but also for the entire state of Georgia,” Ellis said. “Fulton County is too big to ignore and too important to the economic vitality of the state. I am a collaborative leader who will utilize my leadership and management skills to work with all the affected constituencies – the state, North Fulton cities, my fellow citizens as well as business and community leaders - to find solutions.”
