Rusty Paul to Announce Plans for 2013 Sandy Springs Elections

Paul will make an announcement Monday morning at Morgan Falls Overlook Park.

 

Former Sandy Springs City Councilman Rusty Paul will hold a press conference, Monday, on his plans for the 2013 Sandy Springs elections.

The press conference will be held at 10:30 a.m. at Morgan Falls Overlook Park.

In addition to serving on the City Council, Paul was chairman of the Sandy Springs Charter Commission in 2011, and served as chairman of the Sandy Springs/Perimeter Chamber of Commerce in 2012.  

Last year, he presented Council members with potential locations for a local Gwinnett Tech campus, however the school board selected Alpharetta for its new site.

Outside of local government, Paul is a former Georgia State Senator and Department of Housing and Urban Development Assistant Secretary. He currently serves as co-chair of the Government Affairs and Public Policy Practice.
