Epstein School Wins Second Place in Video Contest

The Sandy Springs school received a $5,000 award.

 

The Epstein School has won second place in the Avi Chi Jewish Day School Video Contest, a nationwide competition. The stated challenge for the contest was to define how your school prepares its students to become lifelong learners, an announcement said.

The Epstein School’s video entry was recognized with silver honors in the Expert Judging category with a $5,000 award.

The video focused on three examples of how technology and learning are blended together to promote interest and skills. The creative use of a progressive continuum of learning and the messaging captured the attention of the judges’ panel, the press statement said.

The school credits student actors and staff for putting the project together, including Dr. Bernice Kirzner, Leora Wollner and Matt Blum.
