Georgia Teens Ride with P.R.I.D.E.

The Sandy Springs Police Department offers this award-winning two-hour course, Georgia Teens Ride With PRIDE (Parents Reducing Injuries and Driver Error).

This course is designed to help parents and their teens, ages 14-16, learn what they need to do during the 40 hours of supervised practice driving time required by Georgia law. 

The program addresses both teen and parent driving attitude, knowledge and behavior.

  • Teen Drivers & Motor Vehicle Crashes
  • Understanding the Licensing Process and Georgia’s Teen Driving Laws
  • Coaching Your New Driver (for parents)
  • Getting the Keys to the Wheels and Keeping Them (for teenage drivers)
  • Agreement to Ride with P.R.I.D.E.

Registration prior to the class is necessary.
