Fulton School Board Looking Closely at Charlotte Magnet Programs

The school board has a visit planned to Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools, on Tuesday.

The Fulton County School Board will visit Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools in Charlotte, N.C. Tuesday, to examine magnet school programs and the effectiveness of those programs on student achievement.  

Superintendent Robert Avossa was chief strategy and accountability officer for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools before he was hired by the Fulton County School board in 2011.
