(Photos) Heards Ferry Students Mix Fitness, Health and Fundraising

The Sandy Springs students were on a Boosterthon fund raising team. Along with the Parent Teacher Organization were encouraged to get pledges from family and friends for each lap they completed in the fun run.

Heards Ferry Students participated in a nine day fitness, leadership, and character building experience leading up to their annual fun run on Halloween.

The students under the Boosterthon fund raising team and the Parent Teacher Organization were encouraged to get pledges from family and friends for each lap they completed in the fun run.

The Boosterthon Fun Run team has been serving schools across America since 2001. They provide a fun, healthy alternative to sales-driven fundraisers. The Boosterthon Fun Run is based in Atlanta and this year will serve more than 500,000 students at 700 schools in 16 states across the U.S.

The day was beautiful, everyone had a great time, got lots of exercise and raised over $40,000 for Heards Ferry Elementary.
