It was created to engage students in sharing their faiths and helping to create an understanding of one another in order to instill not just religious tolerance, but an atmosphere of religious respect.

Through dialogue and sharing of a Seder meal, students learned about each other’s faiths and experienced a genuine friendliness and appreciation of one another.

This was evident as the walls of “I do not know you yet” came down and were replaced with smiles and the natural human spirit of camaraderie that come from getting to know one another.

The Seder was led by Epstein Judaics Educator Ron Einhorn followed by words of welcome offered by Epstein’s Head of School Stan Beiner. Also in attendance was Epstein’s Middle School Principal Myrna Rubel and Faith Lutheran School’s Principal Jack Hibbs.
