Embarking on her first internship, Jasmine Wilson is the social media intern at Sandy Springs Education Force, an organization dedicated to providing educational, life skills enrichment programs to Sandy Springs public school students.

“I am looking to become more informed about education in my school community,” said the Riverwood Junior. “Having the ability to report information about events and keep others who are a part of the organization notified is fun.

Jasmine is a member of Riverwood’s Beta Club, as well as involved in student government. She hopes to become a student body officer next year. Jasmine also enjoys singing as a member of the Riverwood Singers and is a nominee for the Governor’s Honors Program in the subject of chorus.

A lacrosse player since 2004, Jasmine plays on Riverwood’s varsity team. “Lacrosse is my absolute favorite activity. I play the position of goalkeeper and I aim to play lacrosse in college,” she said.

“As a career, one of my latest goals is to coach youth in lacrosse and eventually coach at a college level, but I have always liked psychology and education," she added.
