Riverwood Student Earns 2nd Place On National Spanish Exam

Freshman Kendall Laws placed second in Georgia in the National Spanish Exam and in the 98th percentile across the country.

A Riverwood International Charter School student placed second in the state of Georgia on the National Spanish Exam.

Kendall Laws, who is a freshman at the school, also placed in the 98th percentile nationwide. 

World language teacher Brian Strickland reports that 58 of his students sat for this year's exam. In addition to Kendall Laws' Oro (gold above the 95th percentile), seven students earned Plata (silver 85-94), three earned Bronce (bronze 75-84) and nineteen earned Honors (50-74).
