A well-rounded student, Talia is president of the class of 2011 student government; plays volleyball and basketball; takes Taido Karate; volunteers in the community and is fluent in Hebrew.

Actively engaged in the arts, she has an art studio in her home and frequently participates in school plays.

“The arts are at the top of my list.” said Talia. “I always look forward to art class during the week...I love activities that allow me to be creative.”

According to Epstein’s Instructional Technology coordinator Leora Wollner, Talia’s creativity fuels her technology accomplishments.

“Talia excels in technology and is continually motivated to learn new skills every year," Wolllner said. "She is very artistic and creative, and combines these talents when developing and creating websites, multimedia presentations, graphic designs and especially when doing 3D modeling.”

Throughout her five years of technology competitions, Talia has created websites with animations and her own graphics. She used 3D modelling and demonstrated her skills in Photoshop and PowerPoint.

Tailia explains, “It amazes me how technology is changing people's lives over the last several decades. It interests me to see what we have created over the years and what we are capable of doing with a computer. I just love sitting down and experimenting with it!”
