Meehan’s Public House in Sandy Springs takes a twist on Canada Day.  Celebrate this month with delicious food, refreshing drinks, hockey, games and live music.

Atlanta - Meehan’s Public House Sandy Springs, is hosting the 6th   annual Canada Day Festival on Saturday, June 25th from 3pm till 2am. Meehan’s Sandy Springs will honor this holiday by jamming the day away with belting bands, great food and street hockey for the kiddos (3-6p) hosted by the Gwinnett Gladiators.  The schedule for the live tunes is as follows:

Kevin Kos of Age of Consent - 4:00 till 6:30 pm

Poutine Bob & the Brown Gravy’s - 7:00 pm till 8:30 pm

South Side of the Tracks - 9:00 till 11:00 pm

Aunt Betty (covers) - 11:00 pm until the party stops

 

ATLCanadians.com and RBC BANK are teaming up to present the festival to all Canada fans. Marty Seed, founder of ATLCanadians and loyal patron of the pub, is coordinating the event.  Seed initiated Canada Day Festival in 2005 and has supervised all events since its inception. Seed remarks, “The Canada Fest has grown yearly to over 500 people attending in 2010. It’s great way for families and individuals to connect and share their heritage with others."

 

Meehan’s Public House Sandy Springs is located at 227 Sandy Springs Place, Sandy Springs, GA 30328 and is open Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 a.m., Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 2 a.m., and Sunday from 11: a.m. to midnight.
