If you want to learn photography, and you only have time for one class or if you have purchased a digital camera and don't know how to use it, this is the class for you. In the Photography 101 Crash Course you will learn how take great photos of family members, special events and to capture those once in a life time moments in one three to four hour class. Students will also learn composition and how to use the 'exposure triangle': shutter speed, aperture and ISO. This is an excellent class for people who want to learn how to take great sports action photos and how to take photos in low light situation. We'll talk about focus, depth of field and sharpness, as well as how lenses work and students will receive a textbook filled with examples and information to help them in their quest to become a complete photographer. Atlanta Journal Constitution photographer Johnny Crawford teaches the class. He has been at the AJC for 27years and has taught photography at Clark Atlanta University and The University of Georgia. He is currently the AJC beat photographer for Georgia Tech football and has photographed three Olympic Games and over 500 major sporting and news events. You will learn more in this class than some 2 week classes.
